Summer Games Fest 2024 Date Announced

As the run up to Summer begins, we now have confirmation on when the biggest game event of the year will take place. Thanks to a post on X from host and organiser Geoff Keigley, we now know that Summer Games Fest will take place on June 7th at 10pm BST/ 5pm ET. This lines up with showcases from previous years, which tended to take place at the beginning of Summer.

No news on what we could potentially see at the showcase has been revealed yet but, considering how heavy 2023 was with releases and reveals, its apt to expect a more toned down event this year. That’s not to say that fans aren’t excited, however. With speculation around news on Grand Theft Auto VI, Starfield DLC and maybe even some Hollow Knight: Silksong details, there’s a lot to look forward to in this showcase- even if nothing is certain.

In its announcement post, Geoff Keighley also revealed that public ticket sales would begin on May 7th- just a month before the day of the live event. Following patterns from previous years, we’re likely to see individual showcases from the likes of Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox around this time in a 3-4 day window.
