Starfield Release Times Revealed

Ahead of its early access release this Friday 1st September, Bethesda have unveiled the exact times you’ll be able to get your hands on Starfield later this week. This was in the form of a blog post that also announced the PC specs and more details on the different editions on the game, which have caused some argument on the internet since their announcement in June. If you’re just interested in when you can play Bethesda’s latest game, however, take a look at the map below:

If you’re in the UK, that means that you’ll be playing Starfield at 1:00am on Friday morning- which isn’t the best if you have work. Still, it gives early access buyers the whole weekend to explore the game’s hundreds of worlds. With these times, it means that a simultaneous release is taking place across the world. So, don’t worry Australians, you’ll still be able to experience the game the exact same time as the rest of the world.

As well as this, a breakdown of all of the different editions of Starfield was published in the same blog post. This shows which versions give you the 5 days of early access and which ones will actually include a game disc and physical extras. Essentially, if you want to play the game early, you’ll want to buy the premium edition or premium upgrade of the game. Keep in mind, however, that the premium edition including the game is only available on the Microsoft Store.
