Xbox Page for Hollow Knight Silksong Proves it Does Still Exist

Its been almost two years now since we’ve heard anything about Team Cherry’s second game: Hollow Knight Silksong. The follow up to the the 2017 hit indie game has been MIA for some time now- with the only update in the past 24 months being a delay confirmation last summer. Since then, we’ve heard nothing. That hasn’t stopped fans from clamouring at the slightest crumb of information on the project, however. The latest piece of copium is in the form of an Xbox store listing for the game which reveals- well- basically nothing.

The store listing came as quite a surprise since, as mentioned above, there has been absolutely no information on the project for years now. So, for there to suddenly be an Xbox store listing with no fanfare has left fans with hope that the game may be announced for a release date sometime soon. Considering that Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest has been confirmed to return at the start of June (likely alongside individual showcases from individual publishers like PlayStation and Xbox). Given that the same event lineup was the last time we heard anything about the game, its a safe bet to say that we could see more later this year.

That’s essentially everything we know about this listing, however. With the description text being the same as the Steam page (which has been around for years now). There are (unfortunately) also no details on the release date or price. Interestingly enough, though, this listing was made on April 1st- which led some to believe this to be some elaborate April Fools prank. Given that the listing is still up, though, it seems like this is legitimate. Whether this actually indicates that any news is coming soon is anyone’s guess, but at least its a nice reminder that Team Cherry are indeed still working on this project- even if it may take another hundred years or so to release.
