The Biggest Confirmed Game Pass Games for November

After a very eventful October for Game Pass, November seems to be cooling down on the heavy hitters for the service. That being said, there are still some impressive releases- including a bunch coming day one over the next few weeks. Well, without further delay, lets take a look at some of the best offerings from Microsoft that we’re getting over the coming month.

PlateUp!- November 2nd

Clearly inspired by the Overcooked series, ‘PlateUp!’ pits you as a chef in a kitchen with a bunch of hungry diners. You’re tasked with making the food perfectly, serving it up on time and getting the orders right to make sure your customers leave happy. What makes this different is that PlateUp! is a roguelite, meaning you’ll be starting each shift from scratch (with a few unlockables carrying over). If you loved the Overcooked formula, this is one worth checking out- especially since it also has local and online multiplayer confirmed.

Dungeons 4- November 9th

Unlike the typical dungeon crawler you may expect, the ‘Dungeons’ series actually puts you in charge of creating and maintaining these dark corridors of confusion. In Dungeons 4, you can craft your own domain four times larger than the previous entries, and there are more creatures for you to assert your control. Essentially, if you’re a fan of this franchise, Dungeons 4 looks to be the best entry yet, and, if you’ve never heard of it but love the idea of a dungeon crawler flipped on its head, there’s no better time to check it out.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name- November 9th

If you’re a fan of the Yakuza (or ‘Like a Dragon’ as it is now known worldwide), the length of this game’s name won’t be a surprise to you. A spin-off before ‘Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’, which is coming later next year, ‘The Man Who Erased His Name’ once again lets you play as Kazuma Kiryu. This time, set after he faked his death, you are thrust into the criminal underworld to explore new vibrant locations and meet wacky new characters- which has become synonymous with the franchise. This may not be the best starting point, but it is certainly looking to be a treat for fans of the ‘Like a Dragon’ series.

Persona 5 Tactica- November 17th

A Persona spin-off that seems to have flown under the radar slightly, ‘Persona 5 Tactica’ once again has you playing as the phantom thieves. However, this time, the gameplay is shifted drastically. This is now a turn based tactics game in the vein of series like Fire Emblem. This new focus is still bringing the classic Persona charm with flashy visuals, expertly written characters and, of course, the amazing voice cast from the original game. With a fantastic new chibi artstyle too, its never a bad idea to say yes to this series.

So, while slightly lighter in games than October, there are still a bunch to look forward to next month- and that’s not even taking into account the inevitable surprise announcements. Xbox is dedicated to keeping you playing on their console, and its something they’ve been doing quite well recently.
