A Bunch of Games are Leaving Xbox Game Pass in September

Microsoft have announced that a total of nine games will be leaving the Game Pass service in mid-September. This includes a bunch of fan favourites that are being cleared out the make room for the new, big releases such as Starfield and Sea of Stars earlier last month. Take a look below at the full list of games that will be removed from the service on September 15th:

-Amazing Cultivation Simulator

-Aragami 2

-Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

-DC League Of Super-Pets: The Adventures Of Krypto & Ace

-Fuga: Melodies Of Steel

-Metal: Hellsinger

-Sid Meier's Civilization VI

-Tainted Grail: Conquest

-Train Sim World 3

While not all of these are heavy hitters, their presence will certainly be missed by a substantial percentage of subscribers. Games like Sid Meier’s Civilisation VI and Train Sim World 3 have some dedicated fanbases that were certainly bumped up thanks to their presence on Game Pass. On top of that, single-player hits like Aragami 2 and Fuga: Memories of Steel are being removed from the service which is unfortunate for those who have these on their backlog.

It’s not all bad news, though, since each of these games will have a 20% discount off of their Microsoft store for Game Pass subscribers. It’s not a lot, but it’s a nice bonus for those who want to continue playing these games after they are removed this month. In some good news, though, with Party Animals, Lies of P, and even Payday 3 coming in September, Game Pass subscribers are getting some huge releases, even if some hidden gems are being lost in the process.
